
Jamshid Agzamkhadjaev, a graduate of Westminster International University in Tashkent (Bachelor’s degree) and Tashkent State University of Law (Master’s degree in International Commercial Law), is a qualified lawyer with experience in various areas of intellectual property law, including in several CIS countries.
His experience covers projects in areas of intellectual property law such as:
Advising a major media corporation on unauthorized broadcasting and copyright infringement issues in Uzbekistan
Interacting with government authorities, including working with customs authorities at the border to suspend the import of illegal goods
Representing major FMCG manufacturers in local Uzbek courts in combating the illicit circulation of counterfeit goods, as well as in the annulment of unfairly registered trademarks
Advising a major taxi aggregator on the processing of personal data of Uzbek citizens and participating in the development of related documents on personal data protection
Advising a textile giant on issues of corporate reputation defamation and unfair competition
Advising on the legal aspects of advertising within Uzbekistan
Since the establishment of the legal firm SETTLE, Jamshid has been actively involved in various activities aimed at improving Uzbekistan’s intellectual property legislation and is a member of the expert council at the Antimonopoly Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
